KATHLEEN A. BREWER has been practicing law in California since 1991. She graduated magna cum laude from Columbia University in New York City with a degree in Literature and Writing and is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society.  At Pepperdine University School of Law, Ms. Brewer enjoyed a full Dean's Merit Scholarship and graduated with honors in the top ten percent of her class (1991). She is licensed to practice law in all California state courts, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. She is a member of the State Bar of California, the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, California Women Lawyers, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and the Litigation and Labor & Employment Law Sections of California Lawyers Association. From 2007 until 2010 Ms. Brewer served on the State Bar of California's Committee on the Administration of Justice. Ms. Brewer served on the Executive Committee of the State Bar of California's Litigation Section (now the California Lawyers Association Litigation Section) for eight years, including as chair of that committee in 2017.  She serves on the Pro Bono Representation Panel of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and actively volunteers with several other organizations.  Ms. Brewer is also a member of the Legal Network for Gender Equality, which provides legal assistance to those who have experienced gender-based harassment or discrimination.
