KATHLEEN A. BREWER has been practicing law in California since 1991. She graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Columbia University in New York City with a degree in Literature and Writing. At Pepperdine University School of Law, Ms. Brewer enjoyed a full Dean's Merit Scholarship and graduated with honors in the top ten percent of her class (1991). She is licensed to practice law in all California state courts, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. She is a member of the State Bar of California, the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, California Women Lawyers, and the Litigation Section and the Labor & Employment Law Section of the California Lawyers Association. From 2007 until 2010 Ms. Brewer was as a member of the State Bar of California's Committee on the Administration of Justice. Since 2011, Ms. Brewer has served on the Executive Committee of the State Bar of California's Litigation Section (now the California Lawyers Association Litigation Section), including as chair of that committee in 2016-2017. Ms. Brewer is a member of the Legal Network for Gender Equality, which provides legal assistance to those who have experienced sexual harassment or related retaliation.
